I was born and raised in New Jersey and earned an undergraduate degree at Rutgers University. I worked at Merck for two years before returning to veterinary school at Colorado State University. During veterinary school I participated in an externship at the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Government Relations Division in Washington, DC. During this externship I learned about the importance of lobbying for science policy.
I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while visiting and decided to move to Vancouver, where I worked a few years in a busy emergency centre then small animal practices before moving to the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
I enjoy yoga, hiking, and taking my pup on the trails. I am looking forward to working with the team here at Sechelt Animal Hospital.
