I was born and raised in Vancouver and have many happy childhood memories of summers on the Sunshine Coast. It has always been a special place for me, so I decided to make it my home in 2014.
I started working at Sechelt Animal Hospital in early 2018 as a ward nurse and in 2021 I was accepted into the Thompson Rivers University Veterinary Technology Open Learning Program. The program allowed me to work alongside the SAH team as I learned, which was truly an amazing opportunity. I graduated at the end of 2023 and passed the Veterinary Technicians National Examination in early 2024. Becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician has been a lifelong goal, and I am proud to be working now as an RVT with the talented and caring team at Sechelt Animal Hospital.
When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, swimming, video games and spending time with my husband and son. We share our home with our dog (Bean), and 3 cats (Donald, Leroy and Phoebe)
