I graduated from the Thompson Rivers University Animal Health Technology program in 2002. Shortly after graduation, I relocated to the Sunshine Coast to take a job at Sechelt Animal Hospital. Working at an AAHA accredited practice with such a great team and a high standard of care is what has kept me here for over 20 years!
Currently, l live with my husband and two teenagers. We have a cat named Kevin and a German Shepherd named Jimmy. In my free time, Jimmy and I enjoy exploring local trails and forestry roads.
Jimmy is my first purebred dog purchase after many rescues and is a working-line shepherd. Now that my kids are growing up and more independent, I have been learning more about dog training as a hobby. Jimmy and I have been practicing our obedience and we have now done two scent detection courses with Muddy Paws. My special interest is Co-operative care training and if you bring your dog in to see me at the clinic you will probably leave with more information that you wanted on how to can get your dog to buy-in to his or her care!
